Acknowledgments to security researchers

We thank the people who responsibly report vulnerabilities affecting our services. These contributions help protect our users and the stability of the site.

Public acknowledgment

When it is appropriate and the reporter agrees, we may publish a public thank-you (for example a name or a pseudonym). Whether to publish a name, which details appear, and when they are published is entirely at our discretion, taking into account the risk, the severity of the issue, and legal or contractual constraints.

If your name does not appear

The absence of your name on this page or elsewhere does not lessen the importance of your report. A public mention may be omitted for several reasons (a request for confidentiality, internal policy, processing time, the nature of the issue, and so on).
